Smoking while watching movies is a popular pastime for many smokers. While comedies are naturally appealing, any movie can be satisfying if you’re stoned enough. Sad, mystical or questioning films of the meaning of life. Funny films, causing bursts of laughter, or heartwarming films, making us happy to be alive and human. The best films have all of these qualities, but they also share a connection to cannabis. You don’t have to be high to enjoy them, they are basically excellent, but they are even funnier after a joint or a bowl!

15. Reefer Madness

This 1930s classic is a ridiculous portrayal of the anti-marijuana propaganda of the time. It tells a story about the extremely exaggerated and even invented effects of cannabis consumption. A group of drug dealers perverts innocent teens into reefer addicts, resulting in wild parties and rebellious jazz music – a good chuckle!

14. Ted

Ted is a fairly recent film from the creator of Family Guy. It tells the story of John Bennett who, after a wish made as a child, owns a living teddy bear. Even though it’s a rather incredible childhood dream, the film focuses on the later years, when John and Ted grew up. Ted decides to go on an adventure when the other member of the duo, who came before his time to smoke and party, decides it’s time to grow up.

Puff, Puff, Pass is an American comedy movie in which two stoners are embarked on a criminal plan to deceive a disturbing character known only as Mr. Big. Of course, not everything goes as planned.


12. Dazed and Confused

The critics loved this cult favourite, written and directed by Richard Linklater (The School of Rock), tells the story of the last day of school – and subsequent wild night – in the lives of high schoolers in 1976. Adorned with bongs and bell bottoms, macrame and mood rings, and featuring the famous rock music of the bands Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and KISS, this amazing lineup, cast with up-and-comers like Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey and Milla Jovovich. Mr. Nice is a fairly recent British film based on the true story of Howard Marks, a drug trafficking godfather who became the leader of one of the world’s largest cannabis trafficking rings from the 1960s to the early 1960s. 80 years.

These films are the epitome of all cannabis smoker comedies. They follow the exploits of these two legendary stoners as they journey through life.

And number 1, the dude! It’s the story of a joint-smoker bowler and identity confusion. Lebowsky finds himself embroiled in an incredible story when taken for someone else. With the help of his bowling partners, he will repair the affronts inflicted on him.
